The Cambridge Corn Exchange will be the site of the Cambridge News Job Fair 2012. The job fair will be held on Wednesday, January 18 from 10am to 5pm. This is a very popular event that has been going on for over 8 years. It draws up to 5,000 people annually with job seekers attending looking for jobs and taking part in educational courses/trainings.
Some of the companies that will be recruiting at the event are Booking.com, British Antarctic Survey, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge Network, Cambridge Regional College, Care Uk, Childbase Nurseries, Connexions, Dimensions, Enterprise Rent A Car, Family Mosaic, ILN East, Job Centre Plus, Landis Gyr, and more.
Job seekers intending to show up to this event will need to prepare for large crowds. It is very necessary to bring lots of copies of your resume and to dress for success. Candidates will need to park at the Grand Arcade car park, Park Street car park, or Queen Anne Terrace car park. There is no parking available at the Corn Exchange.
